Qingte New Energy Electric Drive Axle encompasses a full range of electric powertrains for commercial vehicles. We have developed various platform products with axle loads of 2t, 3t, 3.5t, 6t, 11.5t, and 13t, catering to the applications of the entire series of commercial vehicles (including various models such as disc and drum brakes, which can be customized according to customer requirements).

Technological Innovation

01.The design incorporates micro-shaped high-precision gears to enhance the reliability of the transmission system's operation.

The design utilizes high-precision cylindrical gear shafts, which feature a high degree of overlap, low transmission error, smooth operation, and low noise levels.

 

02.The use of PTFE low-friction oil seals and low rolling resistance bearings improves the overall efficiency of the axle.

By employing PTFE low-friction oil seals, we can ensure stable sealing performance while maintaining coaxiality, as well as reduce friction between the oil seal and the input shaft, thereby extending the lifespan and operational efficiency of the main reducer. The design of low rolling resistance bearings minimizes resistance during operation, enhances transmission stability, reduces energy consumption, and boosts operational efficiency.

 

03.Optimizing the spatial arrangement of the shaft system enhances the system's output torque.

We have developed a high-performance transmission system with a rational arrangement of bearings and shafts, employing a multi-objective optimization approach to design the gear system, which improves the transmission efficiency and NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) performance, thereby increasing the power density of the system.

 

04.Optimizing the oil circuit design enhances the overall reliability of the axle and increases its operational mileage.

We have designed a multi-oil circuit main reducer housing that integrates single-clamping processing to improve the reliability of the housing and its lubrication adaptability. This design is compatible with both front and rear motor configurations, enhancing the overall compatibility of the axle, making it more suitable for pure electric drive systems, and increasing the maintenance-free mileage of the axle.

 

05.Optimizing the product structure reduces the assembly difficulty of the axle and improves its reliability.

We have designed a reduced spacing between the central parking brake and the main reducer to lower the risk of shaft breakage. Additionally, we have replaced the use of adjustment rings with selected shims to simplify the assembly process, reduce the risk of oil leakage, and ensure the stability and reliability of the system's functionality.

We adopt the highest international standards in the automotive industry, specifically the IATF16949 quality management system, dedicated to comprehensively enhancing product quality management levels. This ensures that every stage, from raw material procurement, production processing, assembly testing, to finished product delivery, meets or even exceeds customer expectations and industry standards. Through rigorous auditing and monitoring mechanisms, we promptly identify and resolve potential quality issues, effectively reducing variability and waste during the production process.

 

02.Testing Standards

We employ a comprehensive range of testing methods, including software analysis, performance testing, and road testing, to thoroughly evaluate the performance indicators of the electric drive axle. This guarantees its efficiency, stability, and reliability under various operating conditions. For critical components such as the axle system and motor, we utilize NVH testing, high-temperature testing, and efficiency testing to ensure that key parameters, including overall axle efficiency, noise levels, and thermal management capabilities, meet design requirements.

The design life adheres to the B10 standard of 500,000 kilometers, with a safety factor of up to 2.5 times. The wheel ends can utilize maintenance-free hub units, achieving three years or 500,000 kilometers of maintenance-free operation. The half shafts are strengthened through medium-frequency quenching, enhancing their durability and wear resistance.

The Qingte QT35HE new energy electric drive axle is widely used in pure electric logistics vehicles, sightseeing logistics vehicles in tourist areas, and low-floor buses, catering to electric light trucks in the 4.5-6 ton category.
